A sweet little dress I made a while ago for (Southern Hemisphere) summer. I’ve worn it a lot, probably one of my better efforts!
The bodice is in seven pieces, based a bodice sloper I’d drafted changed to princess seams. I didn’t know it at the time but this sort of strapless bodice would usually be boned, luckily it fits snugly enough to hold itself up! The skirt is just a rectangle in knife pleats.
Upholstery fabric, ie. curtains! Fabulous.

Aw, thanks! I love prints and florals, so my garments usually end up a least a little bit curtain-y.
