I made this simple dress (last picture) 2 years ago but never wear it. I thought it would be interesting to make some changes on it. I added spaghetti straps, sewed the lining and the dress at the hem to make a bubble skirt and I pinched it to give a funnier look. Then, I made that little top to wear over it. I’m quite happy with the result. I plan to wear that dress for my birthday.

It’s difficult to explain but I will try. You take a “pinch” of fabric with your fingers (just like a pinch of salt) and bring it higher on the lining and pin it (on the lining) where you want it. Make it randomly all around the skirt. When you are satisfied with the length and the fullness, sew tucks securely to the lining by hand. Hope it helped you. Good luck!!!
