Salt Lake City, ...
As part of a Wardrobe SAL, I was supposed to make a fur vest. Very trendy, but not my style, so I decided to go luxe and make a faux mink jacket. I used Simplicity 2149 for the princess seamed shape and burda 12/2010-117 for the neckline and curved hem. I “drafted” a lining (to the edge, so really I just used the main pattern pieces). I love my jacket, but I really wish I had remembered to put in the pockets! I got so excited about sewing it up, that I totally forgot them!
