i made this coat for my daughter from burdastyle’s fur hood parka pattern. this is an adorable coat with all the bells and whistles of a RTW coat, but boy it is not for the faint of heart! i had many many struggles, mostly due to the bulk involved. i needed this to be nice and warm for the winter, so i interlined the body with fleece, and the sleeves with flannel. i’m happy with the final outcome, but if you want to hear my saga you can read all the details on my blog: notes from a mad housewife
