This 14 gored skirt was made by my granddaughter and me using two different, but coordinating fabrics. She is modeling it here with a black tulle tutu underneath. The bottom was left un hemmed so it would rag.We did however use a stablizing stitch 1 in above the edge so it would only ravel about 1/2 inch. It is a wrap skirt made to fit a waist from 24 to 28 inches around. The belt was made with a four inch torn strip of fabric.(also raveled edge.)We love using the unhemmed technique. Is is so fast and give the garment a fresh unique look.
