Who doesn’t love Ikea fabric? This stuff was made for upholstery, but came together nicely for a interesting jumper. I was able to lay out the pattern on the fabric so it doesn’t fall oddly in the front. Because the fabric is so thick, it holds a flared shape at the bottom.

This loves very funky – Ikea fabric is brilliant and really suited to this project! :-)
Just one wee question – what is a ‘jumper’? Just wondering as in the UK it’s the same as a sweater and this really doesn’t look like what we call a jumper! :-)

No, no! Not a sweater! It’s a dress that usually goes over a shirt. It can be any material.

HI, It’s what is called a pinafore dress in the UK.
