I saw this bag in a store today, they had a sample made to inspire you to by a 20 dollar book. I came home and tried to re-create it. It’s smaller than the original but it’s a good “first draft”/ I just love this fabric, and since I have no idea what the real pattern for the bag is called I named it after the fabric. The original I saw was done in “shabby chic” type fabric. It is fully lined in blue, and has quite a bit of room in there! I might tweek the pattern and make another – It only took a couple hours.
I used fat quarters for this - 2 each of 2 different fabrics - and had a few scraps left over. *I added an interior pocket and rosette to the outside.*
