These tote bags are fully lined and reversible. They will endure many trips to the grocery store or the beach. Had sew much fun I will be making more adding a little more creativity as I go. The green bag was the first one I made and the orange/brown bag reflects more of my confidence as I used some of the calico lining for the outer part of the bag and the underside of the handle straps. I’m thinking of some pattern stitches and prairie points for my next one.
The outer part of the bags are made from remnants of thermal lined curtain fabrics which I purchased for $1 /metre from my local fabric store. The lining is calico.
