Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Ah, my new favorite dress. When I saw this fabric at everyone’s favorite fabric chain, I couldn’t resist! I knew immediately that I needed a new summer dress! This is from BurdaStyle 03/2009 #121, the exclusive design in the issue. I used the pleated waistband from 09/2008 #132 for fun, and am happy with how it all turned out. Otherwise, I made my usual alterations but nothing else. It’s only partly lined due to the heavier fabric than the pattern called for. It’s not very well finished because I was in a hurry to wear it to a wedding last night!
