Burda Style For people who sew

This is one of my entries for the swimsuit cover-up contest put on by Craftzine. I can’t wait to see the winners! Wish me good luck!:]

Simple circle dress, pattern as for circle skirt. Instead of using a belt in the top I added black elastic band. There is also a bust part underneath, made from brown cotton, to make it look better. Finished with zig zag baby hem around the curves. I also made special belt, just bought some decorative wide elastic band and staple;] All looks great with high heels;]

I like this a lot! I’ve been trying to make a similar dress for a while, but it has never looked quite right. I was just about to use the fabric to make something else but I have now been inspired by your creation to keep trying! Bravo!
