I made this dress for my friends wedding. It took about 20 hours to make as the silk georgette fabric was very hard to work with. Luckily everything turned out well in the end. I gave the multicoloured silk georgette french seams as the material is very delicate. This dress is fully lined with silk jersey. It was very comfortable and floaty to wear. I chose to make a full length dress because the weather is cold and wet at the moment and I wanted something elegant and different to the usual knee length dresses you usually see at weddings. I really loved wearing this.
Material Notes
Multicoloured silk georgette that I ordered from a company in LA. Red silk jersey ordered from ebay. Lightweight fusable interfacing in waistband. 1 x 7"zip. 1 hook and eye. red thread
