It is so simple, I know, but never got to try making these skirts.
Now I made half a dozen (not for me though!) and I cannot stop.
For these skirts I used a linen-viscose mix fabric. It flows nicely and looks great in summer.
I used different trimmings for the skirt hem (bias tape and lace) and skirt belt (lace, bias tape in red and blue). The ribbons are cut longer so that to make a tie bow at the back, to create a corsage. Therefore the waist is adjustable. Very handy when you meet your models after you make the garments!!
Easy and fun to make.
I am showing three adult skirts at different lengths and a girl’s skirt (waist size 59 cms).

This is a good sample, of how with a simple pattern you can make it interesting with the stripes that you, very cleverly, have added to the waist. Another detail, is the way that you have finished the hem line. Very nice indeed!!!!! well done!!!

Thank you! I must say, it takes one hour to make such a skirt, including the zip and the trimmings! and there are endless possibilities of decorating it.
