I made this dress for my best friend’s 21st birthday.
I used the Margarete pattern for the top, and added some boning down the sides. I then attached a shortened version of Sidonie on the bottom. Sewed on a zip up the back, some cute ruffles and she was ready to go!
Shiney stretch cotton, boning, zip.

So cute! It looks so nicely done and like you could have picked it up at a fancy dress store. I love the colour and the subtle sheen of the fabric really makes it pop in the light.
