This top is inspired by Victorian blouses. I had little fabric to work with so I decided to alter JJ’s pattern. Before cutting the fabric, I placed the front part at about 6 cm (as far as I remember) distance from the fold (calculating 2cm/per pleat and 1 cm in between each one). I cut the back in two parts adding 1,5 cm at the top border for back opening.
Turquoise shimmering silk with embroidered pleats, ruffled collar and shoulders. Hand embroidery.
