Love this fabric and your top is adorable. I too, wish I had a place like Made to hang out, at- no such luck yet!

Love this — great fabric choice!

Thanks! I’m thinking mine turned out differently because it has a little less drape than the fabric in the Burda example, so it’s not quite as baggy, and I made the armholes smaller so it looks a little more fitted. Don’t get me wrong – it has a balloon quality to it but is not as saggy as Burda’s perhaps?

The blouse fits very nicely and the fabric is nice

I love it and I want one really bad!! It is so cool and like the other commenters say much, much nicer than the Burda Style one in the photos – top sewing!!

I would never have imagined that such a nice blouse could come out of this pattern!! Did you alter the neckline or something else, so the pleat comes out diagonally? You made me start thinking of doing such a top by myself…

I didn’t intentionally alter anything to make it come out diagonally… the neckline is a little different because there is an inside seam on the collar where it folds because I didn’t have enough fabric to cut a continuous collar piece. This did make the upper part of the fold a little different but I don’t know if that’s what caused the diagonal?
Could also be that I made mine smaller than the model’s and my hips pull the fabric wider at the bottom too :)
