Description

I re – purposed some Turtlenecks, yes turtlenecks. I received some turtlenecks that I wasn’t too fond of as turtlenecks and decided I wanted to create something else from them. I love my black tubetop but only had one of them and of course can’t find them in stores. So my idea took shape. I cut the turtleneck tops along the side seams, cut out the sleeves and neck and used them as “fabric”. I used the tubetop as a template and went from there. I also found that the neck portion of the top could be used as a great matching headband!

Material Notes

Turtlenecks bought on sale during winter markdown from Walmart ($1.00), need 7/8" elastic, same measurement taken from around torso under your underarms.

The top is really nice and the idea of using the turtleneck as a headband is clever. And I agree with nehmah, I also wish we could find such lovely prints for turtlenecks in the stores in here as well. Congrats! and keep on inspiring people!
