Description

I made this dress for a party that took place last Saturday.

I got inspired by Butterick 5708 and used Wilma Flintstone costume pattern form Burda 1/2012 (#151).

    That turquoise has to be one of my all-time favourite colours for a dress! I love the bow on the shoulder, it’s a fantastic detail! This is another wonderful creation in your collection!

    mind-blowing.. that’s exactly what i had on mind when i saw wilma’s costume.. it’s like you read my mind, and then made it even better then i imagined :) great job.. and great color.. when i finally get to it, i gonna make my version in green (so it’s not a complete copycat)

      Taffeta is great for ties and bows. The strap stayed tied and it looked great :).

    OMG, I too have the January 2012 issue of Burda, so when I read “dress 151” I started wondering what pattern you have used… and then in the description you wrote that it is the Wilma Flintstone costume! Your dress ia absolutely awesome, and I couldn’t even imagine that a costume could be altered in such way. Great job!!
