On May 25th My husband was riding home on his bicycle and was struck and killed my a motorist.
I am dealing with everything in my own way and a big part of dealing with this is figuring out what to do with all his clothes. He was an active duty Corpsman in the Navy(A medic.) and in addition to all his uniforms, I also have his civilians. I didn’t want to donate them to good will, because I really can’t part with them. So I have decided to make them into things that I can wear, So he is always with me where ever I go.

Here is the 1st thing I made. I simply took two of his Banana Republic tee shirts and hacked them up to give me a tank with a more modern feminine twist.

I know it’s not a good picture, but I love how it turned out.

Material Notes

Two 100% cotton tee shirts

Garment Type
Bohemian, Casual, Romantic
