Burda Style For people who sew

I actually made this bag over a year ago, I just simply forgot to put it up. My inspiration for making this bag, was seeing Merita’s travelers bag here on BS (linked to on the right were you can also find her pattern), though the pattern for my bag ended up totally different. I’m very happy with the results, though the bag doesn’t have a lining on the inside. Well, it was supposed to have a lining, but my sewing machine actually melted the fabric (satin), when I was almost finished. I got so angry, and ended up turning in my machine (now I own a Janome mc 5200, and I love it!). I never bothered making a new lining, though the bag would look much prettier. Maybe I will sometime in the future, but for now it will do without :)

I’m sorry, there was no tutorial, but a pattern (my mistake). If you look to the right, there’s a box which says “This project is based on”. There you can find Meritas pattern to her bag, though it is not the pattern that I used. Most of the pattern I ended up using, I made by my self.
