Description

Another Daughter’s B-day request met! Made by MOM w/ LOVe! Surprisingly enough the sizing was right. This doesn’t happen often for me to get it right the first time when I make it myself, since I don’t know what I’m doing when it come to measuring (My modo, is if you pretend like you know what you’re doing you’re usually successful)!
Very simple, cute, and comfy.
It needs a skinny yellow belt though

This romper is very cute. Did you use a pattern for this (if so, which one)? I made a romper from a pattern from the 80s i bought at the local thrift store. Its basically a t-shirt and shorts put together, but the combination of the pattern and the fabric choice (really large polka dots) makes it quite overpowering. I wanted to alter it to make it a tank top instead but cant seem to figure out the best way to do it, so using your pattern would help alot.

Thx, for the comment,I used what i knew from making the last romper i made and just drew something up on paper it is fairly easy if you know how to make shorts. just use one of your tank tops(if your not good at measuring) and over size it in length and width to leave room for mistakes, you kinda can’t go wrong. If i can do it you can too. Sorry i am not more helpful my technique is more trial and error.

I didn’t even see it was polka dot until I opened your post. It looks very cute and well made. I love rompers, I need to make the most of them before I go back to the UK, where I will NEVER BE ABLE TO WEAR THEM AGAIN. haha
