Ever since I saw Jaims’ anthropologie inspired necklace she made; I have been collecting and rummaging for the prefect beads for this. I used her tutorial and I finished it today and have not taken it off. I did a different color combo and made it a little longer. I just kind of winged the length. I did run into a slight issue of not enough wire when I was almost done, but I tied on more wire and hid it within. So far so good.
My closure I should have made either bigger for the bigger clear stone of a little smaller for this one I used. I made a fix post pics and used some more wire to pull some of the beads together at the bottom and then added my “made with love” heart and a jump ring to hide it. It has not fallen off yet….knock on wood. The bigger circles are a little heavy so they don’t stand up as much (not sure if I should have used heavier beadlon or not).
I am going to make some for my family for the Holidays I think, maybe in pastels or black…who knows. I am in love though!!! I’m going to try at least. Thanks Jaims :)
Freshwater pearls, seed beads, bugle beads, crystals, metal beads, glass beads, vintage beads, semi-precious stones, crimp beads, beadalon (thinner one), jump ring, heart bead made with love. my fave is the ones that look like little eyes…hehehe
