I created the pattern for this dress using the rub-off method from a green Florence & Fred ready to wear dress that I bought about 7 years ago. I’ve posted a picture of the original dress and a photo of the rub-off in progress.
I fully lined the dress. I used a centred slotted zipper, with a normal zipper. I added a lined vent using Sunni’s tutorials over at her blog A Fashionable Stitch.
The fabric was called French Hat Box, so that is now the name of the dress.
