My French Country Skirt was made using a favorite skirt pattern (Simplicity #9825) and 100% cotton fabric. This is a knee length skirt with a waist yoke and a zipper in the back. I also added an inverted pleat in the center front for design and room to walk. I did the top stitching in red for “a little extra” something.
I really wanted a colorful skirt to wear with my brown sweater and new riding boots. Tapestry being a trend this season, I used a remnant of decorator fabric to get a similar look.
Simplicity #9825, cotton decorator fabric, zipper.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
