I made it up as i went along :) it’s kind of fun to freestyle it and i learnt alot! I sewed the pleats before i cut it because i’m not sure how to incorporate it into the pattern beforehand can anyone teach me this??

Material Notes

silky brown swirly material

heaps of people on burda style inspired me to do pleats. I’m way into pleats right now!

this is really cute! for pleats, check out this how-to: hopefully that helps- it’s basically just doubling the fabric width for each pleat (at least for box pleats or inverted pleats)

Lovely. The fabric is pretty. I like freestyling it too – I feel more relaxed because it doesnt have to look a certain way so you kinda cant muck it up. I always feel far more nervous when I use a pattern!!! Silly I know!!!
