I made it up as i went along :) it’s kind of fun to freestyle it and i learnt alot! I sewed the pleats before i cut it because i’m not sure how to incorporate it into the pattern beforehand can anyone teach me this??

this is really cute! for pleats, check out this how-to: http://www.burdastyle.com/howtos/show/185 hopefully that helps- it’s basically just doubling the fabric width for each pleat (at least for box pleats or inverted pleats)

Lovely. The fabric is pretty. I like freestyling it too – I feel more relaxed because it doesnt have to look a certain way so you kinda cant muck it up. I always feel far more nervous when I use a pattern!!! Silly I know!!!
