A friend of mine who works at a clothing company was having a clearout at her offices and gave me lots of pieces of sample fabric. Their bulk fabric samples from their Spring/Summer ‘09 collection are now forming the basis of my S/S ’09 sewing!
The pattern is from the Burda WOF magazine (07/2008 I think). It came out a bit too big, but I think it looks ok with skinny jeans, plus I’m too lazy to unpick. I added a front ruffle/bib to accentuate the curved yolk. It’s also got in-seam pockets, but the instructions were a bit hazy, so I used to Burdastyle How-To to clarify the situation.

Printed cotton, contrast plain cotton as I didn’t have enough printed fabric to line the yolk or make the pocket bags.

You look wonderful, I agree with pp, the fit looks good as well as the color, your hair, makeup……. very pretty. I made this top also, but it pulls too tightly at my underarms, I’m going to make it again in a size larger.

Very very nice. It looks so well made. Lovely print. And free fabric? What is not to love.

I don´t think it´s too big (at least not in the picture)! Very pretty! And I dig your hair and make-up!

Hey, this is really nice. I love the fabric and the style. It suits you. Green is my favorite colour.
