Free and Easy Sleeveless Top

Southern, Califo...

I sewed three tops from one two-pieced pattern., one without and two with a “cutout” or wide keyhole front, which is trending now. This pattern is not only ideal for beginners and/or those who are new to knits, but also a wonderful way to use fabric remnants of previous projects.

For a smoother finish, I used bias strips in the corresponding fabrics to finish the necklines and armscyes.

Material Notes

First version: leopard spots-printed matte jersey leftover from a knit dress
Second version: boldly colored satiny polyester
Third version: “botanically” printed stretch cotton woven leftover from a short jacket and a .peplum top

Different fabrics really make three different tops, a good idea for hot summer.
