A Franzi made as a college graduation present for my little sis. After she graduated she moved to Kenai, Alaska, so I made the vest to be very warm!
Wool that my mom has had for ages (I had to work around the holes my sisters and cut out for Barbie clothes). I lined it with a thick, tight weave 100% silk that's wind and water resistant. Buttons are recycled from an old blazer of mine.
burdastyle for the pattern, mom for the wool
My sister for graduating! (I’m SO proud.)

looks good, I like the color and fabric combination, I would have chosen for buttons in the golden shade of the lining.

Very lovely – I love the windowpane wool! And it’s great that the fabric has such a history. ;)
