Description

Upcycled cotton jersey jacket with lightweight cotton with geometric pattern for trim. Inspired by Burda pattern, Stella.

I have been too timid to use any store bought material so I have been practicing on old clothes that I might have otherwise given away. Far from perfect, but not bad.

Material Notes

Body of jacket was an Asian style shirt jacket with Mandarin collar and cloth buttons made of cotton jersey. Trim made from a lightweight cotton summer halter blouse.

Oh, that’s gorgeous. And I agree with jodica, don’t be timid any more, you don’t need to!

I don’t think you need much more practicing! It looks great!

Really good idea, it looks very nice. I love how you use the geometric fabric.
