I was looking for an old leather jacket to turn into a bag and found this beaten up old thing on Ebay for a few quid, it has lots of pockets, zips and other hardware to play with.
It was pretty fun to rip apart and then put back together again. (Top tip for working with leather: use bull dog clips where you would usually use pins).
I only really had trouble trying to decide what to do about a strap but I think it turned out pretty peachy.
It has 4 of the original pockets on the outside and one pocket on the inside. I pretty much used up all of the jacket for this bag including the original super-chunky metal zip.
Lined with a scarf that came with a dress I bought in a charity shop.
Big wedge of £50’s: Hi-larious money print tissues.

Cool idea. It’s a great use for all the leather jackets from the 80s that not many people would want to wear anymore. :P
