My primary craft for a long while was knitting.
Knitting, though beautiful and portable, can take a while.
I may not ever be able to knit all four kiddies a sweater in enough time for them to actually fit it.
But, I can whip up quick and inexpensive sewing projects like these pj pants and they will love me just as much ;o)
I used an old simplicity pattern, but these are so simple anyone could make them without one.
It was a toddler pattern and my oldest is 8. She is very slim, so I only had to lengthen the pattern to make hers. As you can see, they are all too long. Which was on purpose, I hadn’t pre-washed the fabric. They have worn and shrunk nicely. Hubby is still waiting on his ;o)

Soooo cuuuute! You brought back a great memory. . .
My mom used to sew us matching flannel plants to wear on Christmas Eve (& for her too), we would all wear matching shirts, Santa hats, etc., our X-mas pictures were always so much fun.

ADORABLE!!!! their little toesies look so happy :-)
and i feel you on the sewing vs. knitting especially living here in Cali. it’s far too warm here to wear the chunkier knit sweaters, and i’m far too slow and impatient to knit anything lightweight on tiny needles!!
