Description

This was a frumpy thrift shop dress I refashioned to look like a forties style shirtwaist dress. I cut off the long skirt, drafted a six gore skirt from it, added a waistband, and made the sleeves into cap sleeves. I also added some vintage red crochet trim to make it pop.

Great makeover! The red trim certainly makes the dress pop and enhances the lines of the dress.
