San Gabriel, Cal...
Used Butterick 5209. I bought this pattern awhile ago. Usually when I buy patterns, my size is on the cusp. I’m between a 12 & 14 and for this pattern I happened to buy the one that ended with 12. After checking the measurements I realized I should have bought the 14. So I had to add about an inch or so to the waist. Anyways, it ended up fitting perfectly and I love wearing it.
This fabric is actually from Urban Outfitters. I occasionally check their clearance section for home decor and buy up any “tapestries” or “bedspreads” (whatever they call them). They are just giant panels of fabric that I think end up being about 6 yards of fabric. The cheapest I’ve ever gotten one is $4.95. whoo hoo!
