This dress is the result of a failed attempt to find a formal black dress that suited my personal style, instigating a swift jump into the currents of seamstress’ insanity: complete a project in a little more than 72 hours.

The shimmery overlay is actually organdy – but I did use sparkly tulle as the underskirt…I had glitter everywhere when I was making it. :P
