Description

I used the Hikaro #8020 pattern for the jacket.., changed it here and there… Mostly the length… The original one is 15cms longer, and that just wouldn’t have looked good on me… I’m very short!! Here’s a tip: If you don’t have long legs, don’t wear a long jacket!!! I found the idea for the skirt in a Burda magazine, but can’t remember which one, Sorry! I decorated the whole outfit with Yellow stitches, so I could wear my new yellow shoes with it ;)

Material Notes

Pleated wool, dark blue denim and 8 buttons ( I used snap fasteners/press studs )

Wow! I really like the fabrics you chose and I especially love the front! I might just attempt a jacket and hopefully it turns out as cute as this!!

Nicely done! You are so right about using correct proportions according to your height!
