I saw a cute top that my friend wore and I
knew immed. that I have to steal it. I don’t have the right fabrics to work with so this is just a sample (wearable muslin). I will get the right fabric someday and redo it again latter. By the way, the top pattern is just
the same as sloper that I uploaded in this website. I lengthen it and drew new yoke, collar, and sleeves (shorten the shoulders).
The pleated cullotes are not really finished, I still don’t know what I would do with the plain waistband, any suggestion?

the blouse is a very easy, well-constructed and extremely flexible pattern. I had to make it one size bigger, but was able to go calculate the adjustments rather simply.
thank you so much for uploading it.

I made my own pattern base on this chapter.

I have wanted to upload the pattern but it came out too loose around
the waist so I didn’t fix it and grade it. (no time)

This set will be for a granddaughter. I would make the culottes in complementary colors. How about a waistband with side strips of elastic for those who don’t have a “firm grip” on the situation? (I am evil today;)

Thanks all, look like there is an interest in this culottes. I had figured out the grading part already, all I have to do is putting the pattern pieces on the tiles. I like the side button too…Ummm there is a shorts on burdastyle that has side buttons, I think anyone could merge these two patterns together. It would be cute.

Hi JJ1
I have just seen & admired your culottes. Did you ever get around to uploading a pattern for them?

The cullottes! I love yours so much. I maybe love to see them with big buttons (instead of a zipper) on the left side, although I think this plain waistband is simply beautiful.

The culottes are really great. One piece of bright ribbon round waistband ??

Nice work! I’m no expert, so if you like, you can use a thick leather belt, or do some embroidery on the yoke of your bottom, or a stabilizer for the belt you are wearing in the picture, to give it some body. Just some ideas. :o)
