I made this dress for an upcoming fashion exhibit! I used to sew my own clothes just for fun, but now I’m thinking about marketing my clothes. I’m trying to gauge the demand … so here are two questions:
Would you or a friend buy this dress?
And if so, for how much?
tulle, lining, cotton, satin

It’s awesome, and it looks super cute on you. I would definately buy it and as the others say, it depends on the quality of fabric and construction as to how much I would pay for it.
Knowing what goes into pattern making and construction for a dress like that, if it was made of good quality fabric I would pay $65-$80 dollars for it……..
Just a note, I prefer natural fabrics…..polyesters always feel “cheap” to me and they don’t usually drape as nicely……so I would pay more if it was made of natural fabrics.

Very cute. Love the crane material, and the ribbon around the bust is very cute, original, and flattering. I think I would buy this dress for $45 – $60. As was said though it does depend on the quality of fabric used, and its hard to tell online.

Gorgeous dress! Yes I would buy it, and even more so if there were a few options for colours. As for how much it would totally depend on the quality of the make and fabric (it looks high quality). It would depend how much I would pay as I would only wear it to a posh party or a wedding, so I would pay about £60? But I wouldn’t buy it as a general thing for going out at the weekends, it would have to be a special occasion.

I think it is a very cute dress. If it’s as well-made as it looks, I’m sure someone would love to buy it.
