Little top I made for my little girl using the Ottobre front cover pattern summer 09?? A fab pattern, very very easy to knock up in a couple of hours. The bird design I got from here ; http://www.jessicajonesdesign.com/downloads/Bird_wallpaper1024x768.jpg
The sleeves have 2 lines of shirring to create the gather with lettucing done using a rolled hem on the overlocker (lettucing makes the wavy effect on the bottom and sleeve edges).

very light weight stretch knit + scraps of stretch knit for bird applique.
