Choose a lightweight fabric, preferably a fabric that won’t fray. If you choose a fray-able fabric be sure you are able to hem it to avoid the strands from being seen. To ensure you have a “flowing” feel to your finished garment, choose about a yard of your material. The fabric I chose was very lightweight and a little hard to work with, but take your time, it’s worth it in the end.
