Description

I think this is a sheer black and white stripe, although I constantly debate it’s navy to black ratio.

finishing this shirt was a pain, as was matching the stripes. They aren’t quite perfect due to slippage whilst sewing, but for a 4 paneled shirt I am content and happy to be done.

the fluttery sleeves are wayyy too much fin to pose in and play with.

What a cute shirt! It looks so feminine and flowy . I’m gonna take freakusbzzz advice too about the stabilizer for chiffon. I rarely use chiffon because it is such a pain to sew.

this is nicer. try hand basting before sewing. I’ts a bit more time consuming but always has a good outcome.

thank you! i definitely will, it is much better than my plan to swear off light weight fabrics all together.

      Buy some Perfect sew.
its a stabilizer you soak chiffons etc in and makes them feel like well behaved organza.
I wont sew without it now.
