This dress was for a benefit that I hosted for a friend of mine who was diagnosed with testicular cancer at the age of 22! I wanted something fun, flirty and re-wearable. I added the yellow ribbon to tie into the theme of the party. I used a pattern from Simplicity and tweaked it a bit to not look so “PROM 1998”. I think it turned out great. I have used the dress for other outings and just change the ribbon to match my shoes!

I also love the ribbon change! The contrast in the benefit picture really makes it pop out!
