This is my take on the Elizabeth Gathered-Waist Dress from the book sewing vintage modern. I really like this pattern, but I have the feeling the neckline is way higher on the pattern if you compare it to the pictures in the book. I lowered the neckline and made a little rounded. But still my neckline seems to be higher up. No problem for me, but I’m just wondering, am I the only one with that problem? Did any of you had the same problem?
It was the first time I replaced facing by bias tape. It didn’t work out that good. All tips are welcome :)
I repurposed the fabric from a dress I made once and turned out very ugly.
