This is a refashion from a dress my mom got from the republic of bananas store. It had a great neckline but my mom wasn’t too keen on the fit. She gave it to me to fit for myself but it wasn’t right for me either. I found it in my closet when I got home from China and asked if she’d mind me cutting it up to cover the big belly I was going to have pretty soon. She gave me her blessing and I chopped it up. I saved the neckline but everything else got changed. It’s a perfectly light material that makes even the biggest baby bump look pretty! It’s a bit short so it shows off legs and things that are still skinny! It works well over leggings and skinny jeans and has proven to be one of my go to pieces! I wore it to my shower :)
some kind of floral synthetic something. Light and pretty!

Wow – so lovely and feminine – even though you have the “big bump” – I myself am 28 weeks pregnant and was hoping that the maternity range BurdaStyle have just brought out would contain something beautiful and girly like this rather than the tent-style top/dress they did publish!
