This dress is a reconstruction, sort of. I actually completed this several months ago, but hadn’t gotten around to posting it here, until now.
I integrated the decorative button placket and collar from a vintage ’60s sewing pattern, into a sleeveless bodice made with a t-shirt.
I traced and re-drafted the pattern to make the neckline wider and lower and the placket wider. The button placket is solely decorative; it’s stitched on top of the bodice. There is facing around the neckline.
