I found this cotton fabric at a thrift store and wanted to make a top with it. I grabbed my Stylish Dress Book II and settled on the pattern U. It seemed simple enough. In fact, I made it in an afternoon. At first I didn’t know if I should add the cowl neck, as the cotton is a little stiff, but finally, I really like it.

It’s great! It looks so jersey-y! And I like the neck being so stiff!

This looks great! I love the fabric. Getting fabric from thrift stores is my favorite. This fabric works really well with this pattern too, and the collar doesn’t look stiff to me at all.
