I echo “MerBecky” I was hoping to read the description and find out where I could obtain this pattern. The cut is perfect – just enough detailing to be sofistocated and chic! You did a great job, I am impressed with anyone who can drape sleeves. Have you been trained in draping?

I only have a pattern that I created for my size, but I need to figure out how to size it to other sizes before I can share it with you guys. I am studying fashion design right now at Parsons, so this was a project for my first draping class.

This is beautiful!!! I was hoping that you would say you went out and bought the pattern so that I could make one for myself. I’m really impressed that you made the pattern yourself. Great job!

That’s beautiful! It has such clean lines too, like the collar which works so well with the ruffle. And it’s not too ‘ruffly’ either,a fantastic design!

The ruffle is shaped like a donut on the pattern. The inside circumference of the donut should be the length of the edge you want to sew the ruffle onto. I made this cascading ruffle 4 inches wide, so the donut is 4 inches wide from the inside circle. Add seam allowances and cut 2 and sew them together and iron flat before sewing it onto the edge you want to attached the cascading ruffle to. Hope this makes sense!
