That’s a pretty cool hobby, collecting zippers… I’m going to bet you’ve collected some excellent stories and unique experiences. I’d never run out of questions to ask a guy who sees and collects vintage and unique zippers! And I’m in LOVE with this dress, take away or add a single detail and it wouldn’t be the same – it’s perfect. Totally inspired to stop reading about sewing and go to my machine now!

60’s dress by Alexandra, i had to slightly change the sleeve pattern, and you need to slightly turn the sleeve up when placing it in… apart from that a lovely pattern… wish i could find more of that fabric, very rare find…

thanks for compliments everyone, the zipper is funny, as im a guy, straight…. lol my friends ask what hobbies i have…. i simply collect zippers.. they always need a new life.. and they certainly dont make them like they did….. so i tend to always use zippers as a finish off piece, rather than a simple attachment device….. most my mates hobbies are boozing and football….
