I’m so proud because this is the first dress I’ve made from scratch. Unfortunately, I can’t take much credit as it was inspired by jannawilton’s version of Maryy’s Hot Hot Heat dress…so really, this is third hand inspiration.
The skirt of this dress is less flared, and the design itself is more loose-fitting and casual.
Made from about 2m of floral material that I found while op shopping. I’m not sure, but it’s probably cotton with a % of silk.
Dress up outerwear with deep shawl collars and sew up a lovely fitted dress with a flounced hemline.
