I used Burda WOF Aug07 pattern 114 for this. I made some modifications because I had a nice fabric with limited yardage. I didn’t do the yoke and the collar. I connected some scraps to form the non-pleated pocket. The cap sleeves turned out an umbrella on my arm,(I must’ve done something wrong!) so I tried to save it and this is what it became. Also, forgot to cut the back on fold, some confusion on the facings for the front…I’m just so used to burdastyle patterns that I made alot of mistakes on this one!!
Btw the BurdaWOF is really quite a challenge for a novice.

That’s a good idea not to follow the instructions…I find it really confusing…:)

cute blouse, cute sleeves and can’t see any trace of mistakes at all. i agree in BWoF being a challenge, I stopped reading their instructions for a long time ago, I just do what I think is right and I often have to make minor adaptations to the finish of the garments.

Thanks Emilykate, I think by accident the pockets turned out pretty nice :)

I like your splicing on the pockets! And I don’t know what you mean about the sleeves, they’re cute! You did a really nice job overall. BWOF is certainly a challenge to one’s skillz at times :o)
