This is Simplicity 2724 (project runway) pattern. I’ve made this pattern before with a different bodice. This went together pretty fast. I have the perfect cardigan and cognac boots so I can wear it now. The fabric is from Mill End in Portland which I bought over a year ago.
Light sheer floral cotton for top and cotton sateen for the skirt.

Beautiful fabric choice, and great job matching them to a suitable pattern! This is quite lovely.

Thanks for all the lovely compliment, just loved both fabrics when I bought them. I didn’t buy them at the same time nor was I to trying to match them up for anything special. I was bored and decided to create something and on a whim realized how well the two pieces of fabric looked together.

You must just love certain colours and your eye can match very well as in the case of your lovely dress. I hope you get lots of wear and many compliments from this dress.
