I have a stash of the most gorgeous upholstery fabric in my attic and decided yesterday afternoon that it was time they were taken out and used for something!
So after a couple of hours of fabric sorting and pattern reconstruction I had decided a big bag was the way to go because it would allow me to use bits of lots of the lovely fabrics together (yay)
And this was the result which I am most happy with.
Except, as you can see in the last picture, as soon as I finished my lovely rascal of a cat Kuni decided to make it home!
Lovely lovely heavy floral fabric, calico for the lining and i big heavy navy zipper

I like :)
Cats have a habit of doing that – finding somewhere they shouldn’t be and turning it into their bed.

They do! mine has a lovely habit of rolling all over pattern pieces as I’m trying to cut them out, chewing my pins and removing them from my pieces and just generally causing trouble while I sew!
